Extreme Events

The IPCC has released their full report on Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX). Releasing the report the panel said that ‘evidence suggests that climate change has led to changes in climate extremes such as heat waves, record high temperatures and, in many regions, heavy precipitation in the past half century.’ The full report plus the summary for policy, makers which was released in November can be accessed here: http://ipcc-wg2.gov/SREX/ |
