Oxfordshire County Council operates a network of community action groups (CAGs) promoting resource and energy efficiency across the county. The CAGs are run by volunteers and carry out a wide range of activities such as:

  • events -  including low Carbon Living Fairs, eco days, walks and cycle maintenance workshops
  • information stands  at stations or shops
  • libraries where community members can borrow eco gadgets or light bulbs
  • leaflets and guides to encourage environmental measures.
